Two independent sequencers. Evolving harmonic relationships. Endless rhythmic possibilities.
Discover a musical idea. Let it evolve. Capture the variations you love, then make them part of your performance.
Two oscillator voices and four subharmonic voices meet independent sequencers, polyrhythmic clocks, and a 32-slot modulation matrix. From shifting patterns to slow-moving textures, you decide how far the music travels.
Two independent sequencers, evolving harmonic relationships, and unconventional rhythms create a foundation for music that can be played, shaped, and transformed in real time.
Rooted in synthesis history. Built for musical exploration.

SAVE THE UNEXPECTED · PLAY THE POSSIBLE
Some of the most exciting moments in electronic music happen by accident. An unexpected rhythm. An unusual harmonic relationship. A random sequence that suddenly becomes something extraordinary.
On hands-on hardware, those discoveries can disappear as quickly as they arrive. PolyRiffs lets you capture the magic.
Auto Capture saves completed patch-randomization results as named presets. Choose your favorites and load them into a bank of 32 performance snapshots, with each snapshot inheriting the preset name.
Recall variations live, keep shaping the sound, and carry your presets between Mac and iPad with single-preset and ZIP import/export.
Then use Song Mode to arrange those snapshots into a song or an evolving live performance.
FROM HAPPY ACCIDENT TO FINISHED PERFORMANCE.

QUANTUM SYNTHS IN PERFORMANCE
Live music and explorations from Quantum Synths. Watch the featured PolyRiffs introduction above.
OLD IDEAS. NEW POSSIBILITIES.
Friedrich Trautwein’s Trautonium and Oskar Sala’s later Mixtur-Trautonium opened new worlds of electronic sound and subharmonic synthesis. Leon Theremin’s Rhythmicon, developed at Henry Cowell’s request, explored relationships between pitch and rhythm.
That spirit of exploration continues through instruments such as the Moog Subharmonicon and Behringer Spice …and now Quantum Synths’ PolyRiffs! Independent sequencing, controlled randomness, modulation, and performance memory give these ideas new places to go.
